Buffalo Football Projections
The following is a look at a feature from our upcoming fall issue of WNY Craft Beer Magazine. We had a handful of WNY brewery owners and some of our magazine staff project Buffalo’s upcoming season game by game, as well as answer some other Bills related questions. Enjoy, and GO BILLS!
The anticipation at the start of the football season is always high. With a clean slate, and all teams equal at 0-0, optimism pervades the minds of Buffalo sports fans. Maybe, just maybe, this is our year.
That optimistic outlook is greater than any point in the last decade and a half, as the team appears to be built for greatness, except that one important player that we’ve lacked since Jimbo hung up the cleats after the ’96 campaign. With a beloved new head coach, an All-Pro running back, and a defense that could be the best in the entire league, this squad might just need a few bounces to go their way to land a home playoff game in Orchard Park for the first time in nearly 20 years.
With our hopes for the 2015 season high, we asked some area brewery owners, as well as some of our WNY Craft Beer Magazine staff to make their predictions for the upcoming season, and tossed in a few other Buffalo football questions to ponder. Here are some of their responses…
